If Roses Grow in Heaven …

June 24, 2012

If Roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me.

Tell her that I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away.

I love you always – Your daughter, BJ

Aunt Sarah …

June 13, 2012

Aunt Sarah..time does seem to pass so fast these days. It has been two months and counting since you went on to be with your heavenly father and those loved ones that had gone on before you. Each day you are thought of as well as others that hold that one special place in my heart. I am so glad and privileged to have been a part of you and your family and look forward to being there with you all one day to come– whenever that may be. My mind goes back in time to those days when growing up as a little boy and times of good visits at your home. It brings me on to my last visit to your home before you passed on. That visit reminded me of just how great and wonderful an aunt and person you were. You felt more like a second mom than aunt and I always had your love and felt that love for you as well. I love you, I miss you, and I hope you and my parents as well as the rest of the family is sharing some good moments of love in heaven these days. Thank You! With all my Love–Your Nephew…George Short
