Happy 73rd Anniversary Mom and Dad?-

Just a short note to express my love to my wonderful parents and to say Happy 73rd Anniversary.

I want to thank you Mom and Dad for your caring love for me as your child, because no matter how old I am I will always be your child.? God has given me many blessings throughout my life.? However, on top of my list is having two parents as great and loving as you were.? I realize that I would not have any of these blessings if it were not for the blessing of your love.

I continue to think of you daily and miss you more than words can express.? Love and miss you both immensely!

Happy 73rd Anniversary to My Precious Mom and Dad:

Today would be 73 years since you vowed to take each other?s hand in marriage and love one another forevermore. Dad you left this world first and made Heaven your new home. Mom you were given more years here on earth to be with your children, but eventually God called you home.

I know you are celebrating your 73^rd Anniversary today in Heaven. ?I can see you both smiling cheek to cheek just like you did when we celebrated your surprised 50^th Anniversary at a party that your children put together for you.? On your 50^th Anniversary it was absolutely awesome seeing your sweet faces as you entered the room. Your expressions upon seeing family and friends as you opened the door were priceless. I remember your eyes filling with ?joyful? tears.? It actually took a moment for you to realize what was really taking place. It was like you were thinking ?? what is all of this about??? Once you recognized what was occurring, it became an amazingly magical moment ? one just for my loving parents.

So you wouldn?t suspect anything, we made up a story that you were getting your picture made by a photographer for your 50^th Anniversary.?? I must admit, we planned it well, and you were totally clueless. ?Willard and I had to make up a story of why we wouldn?t be able to come home.? We were very convincing and it worked!? You totally believed us!?? Regardless, Willard flew in from Texas and Bill and I came in from Tennessee and you had no idea we were even coming home. I arrived the night before.? To keep the family tradition, I even called you the morning of the party to wish you a Happy 50^th Anniversary. This made it even more believable since it made it seem that I would not be coming home for the holidays.? These memories are simply the best and I will forever cherish them.

Mom and Dad, I know that being together is how you always wanted to be and finally you are back together again in a beautiful place.?? Even though I miss and love you, I feel good knowing you are happy and at peace. I will continue to remember you as my loving and wonderful parents.? I am sending lots of hugs your way and God Bless You Both!

To Our Precious Mom:

We are missing you during this Christmas Season. ?It is our first Christmas ever without you. Even though we understand that God had a need for you and called you home … it still saddens our hearts you are no longer here with us.? Without your presence, there is this enormous void that cannot be restored, and our hearts will always feel our loss.
