As I gaze back on my life, I find myself wondering ?…? Did I remember to thank you for all that you did for me?? Did I remember to thank you for all the times you were there for me when I needed your advice, your support, your encouragement and your love?? Did I thank you often enough for the values you taught me or just the simple things in life that we shared.? What about all our moments together … the laughter when I mimicked something that took place in our lives.? I will never forget your laughter during these times.
Mom, I feel very fortunate on this Mother?s Day to be able to acknowledge what a special Mother I was blessed with.? Even though you are not here, I will always remember you and feel your presence and guidance throughout my life. ?I am hoping you always knew that I was appreciative of everything you did for me whether I expressed it or not.? My grandfather once told me when I was very young that you are only this way one time, that a person needed to leave their mark. I know you & Henry certainly did that with your life style to include having 7 children, many grandchildren, a bunch of great grandchildren.? I miss that giggle, the pretty smile only you had when I teased, and will always regret we never got to that garden to include teaching my girls how to do the canning we spoke of.? I miss you so much, nothing is the same since you left us one month ago today. I keep thinking I am having a bad dream, that I will wake up, and you’ll still be with us.?
